I got three ticks while taking this photo, but thankfully I discovered them all in less than 24 hours. Anyways the park I was at, the Reston Arboretum, had a few birds including several herons. Unfortunately the birds like to hide in the most photo unfriendly places, so I was left with tick bites and a photo of plain old Canadian geese. You can bet it will be a while before I visit that park again.

It’s springtime, Joshua. The ticks are out in full force. It was well worth the photo, though; wasn’t it? Beautiful!!
