I never like writing about myself. That being said, my name is Joshua Davis. I was born in 1990 in a suburb of Washington DC, in fact I’m writing this only 15 minutes from where I was born. But enough about me. This site is like my personal scrap book. I post my photographs, political thoughts, and whatever else happens to be of interstes to me.

Photography

I started photography around 2002, when my grandmother started getting me Kodak disposable cameras, and paying for the prints to be developed. In less than 2 years she got me my first digital camera, a Fujifilm point and shoot. The two other cameras I’ve used include the Fuji Finepix S5000 and S5600, both which I bought with money earned from photography. Along the way my photos have been published in numerous books, including a law textbook from Oxford, and Linux Magazine.

I have my photos published under a Creative Commons license because I believe my photography is a gift from God, and such I should share it. Unfortautnly there are people who would abuse my work if it where in the public domain, so I request if you have a commercial use for my photos that you email me, and I’ll most likely give you a go ahead.

Politics

I’m not really a liberal or conservative, I’m a moderate, with strong liberal leanings. As a Christian many may have a problem with my view, and even wrote a piece about that. But don’t be afraid to comment on my postings, I want to be challenged political, on a few occasions someone has even changed my opinion. So, as long as your comments are constructive I want them.
